The Marvin L. Hull Scholarship Fund rewards a John Adams senior
for their high degree of respect and love for John Adams High
School and by exhibiting exemplary sportsmanship and citizenship.

In 1996, Marv Hull succumbed to cancer at age 67. Marv was a
beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a quiet
guy, yet always found time for his passion...everything Adams!
Marv was the first President of the John Adams Adult Athletic
Booster Club. He was instrumental in getting the club started and in
fostering support for the athletic programs at Adams. He helped get
the work done. Marv was keeping score, selling tickets and doing
the mundane jobs that keep everything moving. His spirit and
dedication lives on with the Marvin L. Hull Scholarship Fund.

The John Adams Adult Athletic Booster Club collects donations to facilitate an
annual scholarship awarded to a deserving John Adams senior student.
The recipient may not be the best athlete or the best student. But they must
demonstrate a great love of school, dedication to the spirit of Adams and show
honest respect for their fellow students and community.
